Jack began working as a business lawyer in China where he finished a bachelor of law in Beijing University. Following his bachelor of law he received a LL.M (with distinction) in European Business law from the University Marseilles III, in France (taught in English). In 2008-2009 he completed also one year of research in public international law at the University of Durham, in England, so as to perfect his analytical skills in the legal and policy field. Later he graduated from the University de Liège in 2012 with Master of law (taught in French). He speaks fluent English, French and Chinese and German and Dutch.

Before joined DBB law firm, Jack had also worked in Houthoff Buruma in Rotterdam and in McDermott LLP in Brussels. He has proven his multilingual abilities and intercultural understanding in academic and professional contexts.

Since 2014 to present Jack works as Belgian lawyer in DBB law firm in Brussels. Jack is currently the head of China Desk in DBB Law firm.

Jack specializes in international and EU investment, M&A, IPRs, EU trade and regulatory law.  He also has a wide corporate law practice and advises on commercial law.  He acts for a range of companies, trade associations and governments both in China and in Europe.

He regularly represents clients before both the Courts in Belgium (including EU Courts) and before the competent Administration Authorities in Belgium (including EU Authorities) in cases involving various issues.

He has developed a wide professional network on a global level, representing both private and public clients, cooperating with lawyers, auditors, banks, etc. In this context, he has also very good relations with the Chinese Embassy in Belgium and the Chinese Mission in European (Brussels).
